About the foundation
The New Carlsberg Foundation was established in 1902 by brewer Carl Jacobsen and is funded mainly by dividends from shares in Carlsberg A/S. Today, the Foundation continues to realize Jacobsen’s vision of promoting art in society and making it available to the widest possible audience.
Apothekeren. Hans Albert Hermansen Svane (1896-1987). Født i Marstal. Apoteker i Danmark og i Island i Stykkishólmur og Isafjörður.
5 aarige Søn. Hans Albert Svane (1922-?) Apotekeren i Stykkishólmurs søn. Blev udannet og arbejdede som læge i Island. Blev senere læge i Danmark.
